Salary and Benefits
Successful candidates will receive:
- Salary Scale B2 (P77,184 โ P91,344 per annum).
- 20 working days annual leave.
- Government Contributory Pension Fund (Government contributes 15%, employee contributes 5%).
- Optional Medical Aid Scheme (Government contributes 50% and employee contributes 50%).
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- STD 7, PSLE or Junior Certificate.
- Successfully completed a Tractor Loader Backhoe (T.L.B.) Operator Course from a recognised or accredited institution.
- A valid Class H Driver’s Licence with the appropriate special type endorsement for Tractor Loader Backhoe and related machinery.
The following will be an added advantage:
- Experience operating Bulldozers, Front-End Loaders, Graders and Scrapers.
Experience:
- Serving officers must have completed at least 2 years of satisfactory service as a Plant Operator II (B3 Salary Scale); or
- Direct entry applicants must possess a T.L.B. Certificate and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will:
-Operate a Tractor Loader Backhoe safely and efficiently.
-Inspect tyre pressure and report abnormal wear.
-Check coolant, oil and fuel levels.
-Drain condensation where required.
-Clean air cleaners, filters and breathers.
-Tighten loose nuts and grease machinery.
-Refuel and clean equipment.
-Maintain batteries and replace damaged batteries when necessary.
-Report equipment defects and corrosion.

- Ability to inspect and maintain equipment.
