This role involves providing technical support to the Mining and Geology team, ensuring accurate material allocation, sampling processes, and adherence to operational plans in a mining environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure spotters follow correct dig plans and load allocations
- Monitor daily mining plans and ensure compliance
- Provide mark-out maps and ensure flitches are properly marked
- Maintain visibility and condition of mark-out tapes
- Ensure mining is done at correct levels and TBMs are correctly placed
- Ensure correct material allocation and accurate tallying
- Prevent incorrect dumping by managing stockpile access
- Align drill rigs to correct azimuth and dip
- Validate downhole survey data
- Ensure samplers have correct documentation and equipment
- Monitor sample quality during drilling processes
- Ensure samples are packaged and ready for dispatch
- Maintain compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards
Requirements & Skills
- JC or equivalent qualification
- Valid Botswana Class B Driverโs License
- Minimum 3 years field experience in geological sampling
- Knowledge of grade control drilling and sampling processes
- Base metals experience (advantageous)
