Overview

A leading bakery is looking for a reliable and driven Salesman Driver to join their sales and distribution team in Vereeniging. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering products, managing customer relationships, and supporting daily sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

– Deliver products to customers on time and in full

– Ensure accurate order fulfilment according to customer requirements

– Collect payments and manage daily cash handling

– Build and maintain strong customer relationships

– Promote and grow bakery product sales

– Manage company assets and ensure proper handling of stock

– Provide excellent customer service during deliveries

– Maintain accurate records of deliveries and transactions

Requirements & Skills

Grade 12 (Matric)
Valid Code 10 (C1) driver’s license with valid PDP (minimum 3 years)
1–3 years experience in sales or retail environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to persuade and influence customers
Good numerical and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
Ability to manage time effectively and meet targets

Working Conditions

Fast-paced and pressurised environment
6-day work week
Required to work weekends and public holidays when needed
May be required to work in different operational areas
