Overview
Ares Holdings is looking for a motivated Shop Assistant to join the Crocs team in Somerset West. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, driving sales, and maintaining high store standards while representing a well-known international retail brand.
Key Responsibilities
– Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with product selection
– Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products
– Achieve daily sales targets and promote additional sales opportunities
– Replenish stock and ensure shelves are fully stocked at all times
– Process deliveries, pricing, and tagging of merchandise
– Maintain store cleanliness, including floors, shelves, and fitting areas
– Assist with opening and closing of the store
– Support merchandising activities and maintain visual display standards
– Handle customer orders and operate POS systems accurately
Requirements & Skills
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 1 year customer service or retail experience
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Product knowledge (advantageous)
