Overview
Kia Motors is seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join its team in Gaborone.
The successful candidate will take overall responsibility for diagnosing and repairing complex automotive electrical and electronic systems, ensuring work is completed according to manufacturer standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Remove and fit vehicle components and parts in accordance with manufacturer specifications
- Diagnose electrical and electronic faults accurately
- Repair and maintain complex systems including:
- Engine management systems
- ABS braking systems
- EBD systems
- Airbag systems
- Electronically controlled gearboxes
- Repair instrument panel faults including speedometers, tachometers, fuel and oil gauges
- Ensure all repairs meet quality and safety standards
Minimum Requirements
- Certificate in Auto Electrician or relevant qualifications and experience
- Minimum age: 35 years and above
- Proven hands-on experience as an Auto Electrician
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Literate and fluent in English
