Clicks Botswana is recruiting 3 permanent Shop Assistant / Cashier positions for its Watershed store.

Position
Shop Assistant / Cashier (X3)
Location: Watershed, Botswana
Employment Type: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
-Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
-Operate the Point of Sale (POS) accurately and efficiently.
-Process customer payments and scan merchandise correctly.
-Handle cash safely and accurately.
-Promote the Clicks ClubCard programme and register new members.
-Inform customers about current promotions and special offers.
-Maintain attractive merchandise displays.
-Ensure shelves are well-stocked and neatly presented.
-Perform general housekeeping duties within the store.
-Keep up to date with products, promotions and store events.
-Support the company’s vision by delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- BGCSE (Botswana General Certificate of Secondary Education) or equivalent qualification.
- Previous customer service or retail experience will be an added advantage.
- Mathematics and English at BGCSE level will be advantageous.
Skills and Competencies
Successful candidates should possess:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Good numeracy and cash-handling skills.
- Planning and organisational skills.
- Problem-solving ability.
- Knowledge of retail merchandising and promotions.
- Understanding of basic stock management procedures.
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure.
