Job Purpose
Successful candidates will market and sell life insurance products to individual and corporate clients. The role involves identifying potential customers, generating new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
-Identify and engage potential clients, including individuals, SMEs, and corporate customers.
-Promote and recommend suitable life insurance solutions.
-Build and maintain strong client relationships.
-Conduct market research and identify new sales opportunities.
-Attend client meetings, networking events, and presentations.
-Meet and exceed sales targets.
-Provide accurate product information and assist with client onboarding.
-Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants should have:
-Strong sales and negotiation skills.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
-Good networking and relationship-building skills.
-Good presentation and customer engagement skills.
-Microsoft Office proficiency will be an advantage.
–Certificate of Proficiency in Long-Term Insurance (Mandatory).
-Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing & Sales will be an added advantage.
-A valid driver’s licence and own transport will be an added advantage.
-Previous experience with Botswana Life, Metropolitan Life, Hollard Life, or other financial services companies will be advantageous.
