Overview

Pedros is seeking an experienced Code 10 Driver to join its Distribution Centre team. The role involves ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of goods while maintaining high standards of vehicle care, compliance, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

– Deliver goods safely and on schedule according to assigned routes

– Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any faults or issues

– Ensure correct loading and offloading of products, including pallets

– Verify delivery documentation and ensure proof of delivery is signed

– Adhere to road safety regulations and company policies at all times

– Maintain proper vehicle usage and ensure compliance with safety standards

– Follow Occupational Health and Safety requirements

– Return undelivered goods, empty containers, and documentation

– Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle and workspace

– Communicate daily activities and complete required reports accurately

Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric)
Minimum 5 years proven driving experience
Valid Code 10 driver’s license
Valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit)
Valid South African ID
Willingness to work rotational shifts
