Overview

Brights Hardware is hiring General Assistants for the Building & Drive Thru Yard Department. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, supporting yard operations, and ensuring accurate loading of goods while maintaining a clean and organised work environment.

Key Responsibilities

– Load customer vehicles, delivery trucks, and transfer trucks accurately and efficiently

– Ensure stock is properly stacked, counted, and handled with care

– Assist with preparing stock for transfers

– Report stock shortages and damages to management

– Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards within the yard

– Assist customers with product queries and provide excellent service

– Support bagging of materials such as sand and stone

– Participate in stocktaking and inventory control processes

– Perform general duties as assigned by supervisors

Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role (preferred)
Ability to count and manage stock accurately
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physically fit with the stamina for manual work
