Overview
Pick n Pay Clothing is recruiting Floor Shop Assistants across several provinces. If youโre customer-minded, passionate about fashion retail, and eager to learn, join a dynamic in-store team where youโll drive sales, present merchandise to standard, and deliver a consistently positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Maximise sales to meet daily/weekly/monthly store targets.
- Deliver friendly, professional service; engage customers and close sales.
- Execute accurate and efficient till/POS operations.
- Display and replenish merchandise to company visual standards.
- Handle, receive and care for stock per SOPs (ticketing, rotation, BOH control).
- Maintain outstanding store condition: housekeeping, hygiene, safety compliance.
- Support promotions and price changes; ensure correct ticketing and signage.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve store KPIs.
Requirements & Skills
- Matric (Grade 12) or relevant tertiary qualification.
- Proficient in English; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Passion for retail and fashion; customer-centric approach.
- Hard-working, reliable, and able to work shopping-mall hours.
- Numeracy, basic computer/POS literacy, attention to detail, and initiative.
