Overview

Fedics, part of Tsebo Solutions Group, is looking for a dedicated Food Service Assistant to join their team in Boksburg. This role involves supporting food preparation, maintaining hygiene standards, and delivering excellent customer service in a catering environment.

Key Responsibilities

– Assist with meal preparation and serving of food items

– Ensure serving areas are clean, stocked, and well-organised

– Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all work areas

– Store and record leftover food appropriately

– Clean kitchen areas, canteen tables, and service spaces

– Provide excellent customer service and assist with queries

– Support stock control and handover between shifts

– Assist with training of new staff where required

– Report customer feedback, complaints, or compliments

– Attend training sessions and meetings as required

– Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements & Skills

Grade 12 (Matric)
1–2 years’ experience in a similar role
