Overview
Ster-Kinekor is seeking a versatile and energetic General Assistant to join its Fourways cinema team. This role involves supporting various cinema operations including customer service, food preparation, ticket sales, and general housekeeping to ensure a great movie-going experience for customers.
Key Responsibilities
– Assist across multiple cinema functions including cashier, food service, and floor operations
– Provide excellent customer service and assist guests with queries
– Prepare food items such as popcorn and beverages according to quality standards
– Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, counters, and public spaces
– Ensure displays, promotional materials, and signage are up to date
– Assist with stock control and ensure products are properly stored
– Support daily operational tasks and shift preparation
– Follow health and safety procedures at all times
– Uphold company standards, values, and professional conduct
Requirements & Skills
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- 0โ1 year experience in a similar role (advantageous)
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office)
- Knowledge of cinema systems (VISTA/MYCC) is advantageous
