Overview
Empact Group is seeking a dedicated Food Service Assistant to support daily food service operations. The role involves assisting with food preparation, customer service, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
– Assist with food preparation and basic cooking tasks
– Support both front-of-house and back-of-house operations
– Serve food to customers and provide friendly service
– Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen and service areas
– Follow all health, safety, and food safety regulations
– Assist with general duties as required to support daily operations
Requirements & Skills
- Grade 12 (Matric) โ essential
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry
- Customer service experience is advantageous
- Food & Beverage or Culinary qualification (advantageous)
Key Competencies:
- Basic knowledge of food preparation
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Well-groomed with high personal hygiene standards
- Passion for customer service and teamwork
