Overview

Cape Union Mart International is recruiting Shop Assistants (2 positions) for its Old Khaki stores. This opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about retail, customer service, and sales, with the ability to contribute to store performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

– Deliver excellent customer service and enhance the in-store experience

– Assist with daily store operations and merchandising

– Drive sales and meet individual and store targets

– Maintain store presentation and visual merchandising standards

– Monitor stock levels and minimise shrinkage

– Support implementation of company policies and procedures

– Assist with staff coordination, training, and teamwork where required

– Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organisation of the store

Requirements & Skills

Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
Retail experience (sales or supervisory experience advantageous)
Basic computer literacy (MS Office)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Customer-focused with a sales-driven mindset
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
Clear criminal record
