Overview
Ster-Kinekor Theatres is hiring General Assistants (2 positions) to support cinema operations across multiple departments. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates to gain experience in a dynamic entertainment environment.
Key Responsibilities
– Assist in various roles including cashier, cinema assistant, food & beverage service, and customer support
– Sell tickets, snacks, and beverages while providing excellent customer service
– Prepare food items such as popcorn and slush according to quality standards
– Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, counters, and cinema areas
– Ensure displays, posters, and promotional materials are updated and presentable
– Support daily shift preparation and operational tasks
– Handle products carefully to maintain quality and customer satisfaction
– Follow health and safety procedures at all times
– Assist with stock control and storage standards
Requirements & Skills
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- 0โ1 year experience in a similar or customer-facing role
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational and teamwork skills
- Presentable and professional at all times
