Overview
ACDC Express is looking for a reliable and customer-focused Till Operator to join their Richmond Park team. The role focuses on handling customer transactions efficiently while delivering excellent service at the point of sale.
Key Responsibilities
– Operate the cash register and process customer payments accurately
– Scan items and ensure correct pricing at checkout
– Accept payments via cash, card, and other methods
– Issue receipts, refunds, and change where required
– Maintain a clean and organised checkout area
– Assist customers with queries and provide helpful information
– Handle returns and exchanges according to company procedures
– Track and report any discrepancies in transactions
– Pack and wrap purchased goods as required
– Support store operations and assist where needed
Requirements & Skills
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a retail environment
- Basic computer literacy
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer service oriented with a friendly attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure
