Ta Shebube is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for an Operations Manager vacancy.
Ta Shebube operates two lodges at Polentswa and Rooiputs in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park (KTP). The successful candidate will oversee lodge operations and help ensure that guests receive a high-quality and memorable safari experience.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants should have:
-A minimum of 5 years’ work experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar position within the hospitality industry.
-Experience supervising and motivating employees across different areas of lodge or camp operations.
-Strong understanding of guest service within the hospitality or safari tourism environment.
-Ability to coordinate multiple operational functions.
-Ability to maintain high standards of service delivery.
-Ability and willingness to work effectively in remote wilderness environments for a couple of months at a time.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the lodges.
- Coordinate activities across the different operational areas of the business.
- Liaise with departments and service-providing units such as procurement, reservations and finance.
- Ensure the smooth running of all functions that affect service delivery.
- Supervise and motivate employees involved in camp and lodge operations.
- Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Ensure guests receive a memorable safari and hospitality experience.
- Coordinate different functions to maintain consistent quality service.
- Implement strategies aimed at improving operational efficiency.
- Assist in improving the profitability of lodge operations.
- Report to the Managing Director.
