Botswana Police Service Invites Applications for Cluster Volunteers
The Botswana Police Service is inviting suitably qualified and community-minded Botswana citizens to apply for Cluster Volunteer positions under the Bobonong Police Station.
Successful applicants will be appointed on a three (3) month contractual basis to assist the Botswana Police Service with community policing, crime prevention, and public awareness initiatives within their respective villages.

- Bobonong Central โ 8 Posts (4 Male, 4 Female)
- Bobonong South East โ 13 Posts (8 Male, 5 Female)
- Bobonong South West โ 13 Posts (8 Male, 5 Female)
- Borotsi Cluster โ 14 Posts (7 Male, 7 Female)
- Selemani/Chime โ 11 Posts (6 Male, 5 Female)
- Molalatau โ 6 Posts (3 Male, 3 Female)
- Lepokole โ 7 Posts (4 Male, 3 Female)
Job Overview
Cluster Volunteers will work closely with the Botswana Police Service to strengthen community safety through crime prevention initiatives, public education campaigns, and building strong relationships between the police and local communities.
Responsibilities
Successful applicants will be expected to:
- Patrol their assigned villages.
- Conduct public education and awareness campaigns.
- Assist communities with crime prevention activities.
- Help strengthen cooperation between the police and local communities.
- Report for duty on 2 July 2026.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be residing within the constituency or council where they intend to serve.
- Be between 18 and 60 years of age.
- Be able to read and write.
- Be mentally and physically fit.
- Be known by members of the local community.
- Have no criminal record and be willing to undergo fingerprint verification.
Is Experience Required?
No.
Previous experience is not required. The Botswana Police Service is looking for committed community members who meet the eligibility requirements and are willing to serve their communities.
