Medical Specialist Positions
Anesthesiologist
Applicants must possess a postgraduate degree in Anesthesia with at least five years of relevant experience and be registered with the Botswana Health Professions Council (BHPC).
Neurosurgeon
Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in Neurosurgery with a minimum of three years’ experience and registration with BHPC.
Urologist
Applicants must possess a postgraduate qualification in Urology and be registered with BHPC.
Vascular Surgeon
Candidates must hold a postgraduate qualification in Vascular Surgery and be registered with BHPC.
Surgeon
Applicants must have an MBBS/MBChB or equivalent qualification together with a postgraduate qualification in Surgery. Candidates should have 3โ5 years of surgical experience and hold a valid practicing licence.
Gynecologist
Candidates must possess an MBBS/MBChB or equivalent qualification and a postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics and Gynecology, with 3โ5 years of relevant surgical experience and a valid practicing licence.
Consultant Physician
Applicants must have a postgraduate qualification in General Medicine and at least five years of experience as a specialist. Registration with BHPC is required.
Medical Officer
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS/MBChB) qualification and have at least five years of experience as a Medical Officer. Registration with BHPC is mandatory.
Pharmacy and Radiology Positions
Radiographer
Applicants must possess a Diploma in Radiology and have at least five years of experience in a hospital environment. Registration with BHPC is required.
Pharmacist
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) qualification with at least five years of experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy setting. Registration with BHPC is compulsory.
Pharmacy Technician
Applicants must possess a Diploma in Pharmacy and at least three years of relevant work experience. Registration with BHPC is required.
Nursing Positions
Nursing Manager
The successful candidate will oversee all nursing operations within the hospital. Applicants must have a Diploma in General Nursing, a minimum of five years’ experience in a private hospital environment, and supervisory experience. Registration with the Botswana Nursing and Midwifery Council is required.
Theatre Nurse
Candidates must hold a Diploma in General Nursing and a Post Basic Certificate in Theatre Nursing with at least three years of experience.
ICU Nurse
Applicants must possess a Diploma in General Nursing together with post-basic ICU Nursing training and at least five years of experience.
Registered Nurse Midwife
Candidates must hold a Diploma in General Nursing and post-basic Midwifery training with at least five years of experience as a midwife.
Registered Nurse
Applicants must possess a Diploma in General Nursing and a minimum of seven years of experience in a hospital environment.
All nursing applicants must be registered with the Botswana Nursing and Midwifery Council.
Management Positions
Finance and Administration Manager
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the hospital’s financial operations, budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, internal controls, and strategic business growth.
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent
- Strong financial management and leadership experience
Human Resources Manager
The Human Resources Manager will oversee recruitment, employee relations, talent development, HR strategy implementation, and labour law compliance.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Healthcare sector experience will be an added advantage
- Strong people management and leadership skills
