Contract Duration: 1 Year
KKM JV, a joint venture between Yellow River Co. Ltd., Sinohydro Bureau 3 Co. Ltd., and Unik Civil Engineering Pty Ltd, is the appointed contractor for the Construction of the Polihali Transfer Tunnel under Phase II of the Lesotho Highlands Water Project.
The project facilitates water transfer from Katse Reservoir through the Transfer and Delivery Tunnels to the Ash River Outfall in South Africa. KKM JV invites applications from qualified South African nationals for the position of Safety Officer.

Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma in Health and Safety
- Valid Driverโs Licence
Experience
- Minimum of three (3) yearsโ working experience in construction projects
Added Advantage
- SAMTRAC or NEBOSH Certificate in Construction Health and Safety
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with construction health and safety regulations
- Monitor site activities to ensure adherence to safety standards
- Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments
- Promote a strong safety culture on site
- Report and investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with project safety procedures and legal requirements
