Main Purpose of the Job

The Night Watchman will be responsible for providing security services to Government premises during the night.

The successful candidate will help protect Government buildings, property and other assets from theft, burglary and unauthorised access.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The Night Watchman will be expected to:

• Guard Government buildings and property
• Patrol the premises during assigned periods
• Ensure windows and doors are securely closed and locked
• Maintain records of Government movable property entering and leaving the premises
• Help prevent theft of Government property
• Inspect fences and enclosures for unauthorised access
• Report defects or security concerns to the supervisor
• Immediately report cases of theft and burglary to the supervisor and police
• Hoist and lower the national flag at designated times
• Record suspicious occurrences in the relevant diary
• Maintain accurate information that may assist investigations into theft or burglary
• Perform other related duties assigned by management

Salary & Benefits

The position offers a salary of:

P46,080 – P48,384 per annum

Successful candidates may also receive the following benefits:

Medical Aid: Optional contributory medical aid scheme, with Government contributing 80% and the employee contributing 20%.

Pension: Contributory Pension Fund, with the employee contributing 5% and Government contributing 15%.

Housing/Upkeep Allowance: P1,105.40 per month.

The position also provides 20 working days of leave per annum.
