Overview
Brights Hardware is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the store and office environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring a clean, safe, and well-organised workplace that supports excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
– Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum floors in the store and office areas daily
– Empty bins and maintain waste disposal areas
– Clean kitchen areas and prepare tea for staff
– Clean windows and maintain general store cleanliness
– Report any breakages or faulty equipment to management
– Monitor and request cleaning supplies when needed
– Maintain housekeeping standards across all work areas
– Assist with stock counts where required
– Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors
Requirements & Skills
- Matric or equivalent (or Recognition of Prior Learning)
- Ability to clean efficiently and maintain high hygiene standards
- Good understanding of housekeeping practices
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable and able to follow instructions
- Attention to detail and a positive work attitude
