Overview
Empact Group is recruiting Food Services Assistants (Healthcare) across 6 locations to support safe, high-quality catering in healthcare environments. Youโll perform food prep and front-of-house service, uphold strict Health & Safety and Food Safety standards, and provide outstanding service to patients, staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
-Perform a variety of tasks associated with food production (prep, portioning, plating).
-Provide front-of-house support: counter service, tray assembly, cashless service where applicable.
-Maintain compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety (HACCP) standards at all times.
-Ensure excellent hygiene and housekeeping in kitchen and service areas.
-Assist with receiving, storing, rotating and issuing stock (FIFO).
-Support general back- and front-of-house operations as required.
Requirements & Skills
–Matric (Grade 12) essential.
-Customer service experience advantageous.
-Knowledge of basic food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
-Clear communication, professional appearance, and strong service ethic.
-Passionate about delivering a world-class service to clients and customers.
