Fixed-term EPWP appointments to 31 March 2026. Daily rates: R311/day for Skilled roles; R208/day for Semi-Skilled.

1) 2ร— Skilled Environmental Monitors (Technical Services) โ€“ Golden Gate HNP

Closing: 19 Sep 2025
Pay: R311/day (EPWP) | Contract: to 31 Mar 2026


Requirements (summary): Matric/NQF4; Code 10 driverโ€™s licence; โ‰ฅ1 year technical/maintenance experience; safety-conscious; basic admin; computer literacy an advantage; SAPS clearance; own transport & accommodation.


Key duties: Electrical & building maintenance (wires, switches, pumps, tiling/painting/plumbing/carpentry), routine upkeep of facilities, fleet admin, stock control, general cleaning.

2) 5ร— Skilled Environmental Monitors (Conservation) โ€“ Golden Gate HNP

Closing: 19 Sep 2025
Pay: R311/day (EPWP) | Contract: to 31 Mar 2026


Requirements (summary): Matric/NQF4; physically fit for patrols in mountainous terrain; medical fitness exam; SAPS clearance; driverโ€™s licence advantageous; firearm competency a strong advantage; own transport & accommodation.


Key duties: Law enforcement patrols (anti-poaching/problem animal control by foot/horse/vehicle), infrastructure maintenance (fences, trails, erosion rehab, roads), alien clearing, fire management (breaks, prescribed burns), logs/records, assist at stables.

3) 2ร— Semi-Skilled Environmental Monitors (Socio-Economic) โ€“ Golden Gate HNP

Closing: 19 Sep 2025
Pay: R208/day (EPWP) | Contract: to 31 Mar 2026


Requirements (summary): Matric/NQF4; local candidates preferred (submit proof of residence); good physical health; English literacy; basic H&S; SAPS clearance; own transport & accommodation; relevant certificate/diploma & Code B licence are advantages.


Key duties: Environmental education & awareness support (Wilgenhof EE Centre), programme planning/presentations, venue/kitchen/ablution preparation & hygiene, stock/consumables control, basic admin (timesheets/logbooks/reports), assist with natural resource tasks.
