Overview
Clicks Group is seeking to appoint 10 Shop Assistant / Cashiers at its Bronkhorstspruit branch. This role is ideal for energetic individuals who are passionate about delivering excellent customer service, efficient point-of-sale operations, and merchandising to ensure an outstanding shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute all operational activities at the point of sale efficiently and accurately.
- Scan merchandise and process payments with accuracy, ensuring the safe handling of cash at all times.
- Promote and enroll new members into the Clicks Clubcard loyalty programme to achieve participation targets.
- Inform customers about promotions to positively impact sales.
- Act as a brand ambassador by providing friendly, visible, and professional service.
- Support store operations by executing merchandising, housekeeping, and stock management duties.
- Stay updated on products, ranges, and promotions to offer correct customer information.
Requirements and Skills
Education:
- Essential: Grade 12.
- Desirable: Minimum 50% in Maths and English at Grade 12 level.
Experience:
- Desirable: Prior customer-facing experience in retail/FMCG store operations.
Knowledge:
- Basic maths and numeracy.
- Retail/FMCG operations, including merchandising and promotions.
- Stock management processes.
- Principles of customer service excellence.
Skills & Competencies:
- Planning and organising.
- Problem-solving and customer orientation.
- Strong communication skills.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to work under pressure and follow procedures.
