Overview
Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa is offering a 12-month Visual Merchandising Learnership Programme designed for unemployed youth who want to gain practical experience in sales, merchandising, and customer service within the FMCG industry.
The programme provides structured workplace training that equips learners with the skills required to support customer sales growth, implement merchandising standards, and ensure product visibility across retail outlets.
Participants will work closely with the Sales Team and Account Developers while gaining hands-on industry experience.

Key Responsibilities
Merchandising & In-Store Execution
– Visit assigned retail outlets according to daily call schedules.
– Implement visual merchandising standards and product displays.
– Ensure proper stock rotation and product availability.
– Maintain product visibility according to company standards.
– Conduct in-store merchandising audits using the iRED survey.
Sales & Customer Support
- Assist customers with the ordering process using the MyCCBA platform.
- Support promotional campaigns and marketing activities.
- Work with sales teams to improve product distribution and visibility.
Operational Support
– Provide support to the Account Developer when required.
– Maintain strong relationships with customers and retail partners.
– Monitor product quality and brand compliance in stores.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy (minimum 40%).
- English and one additional South African language (minimum 40%).
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Age 18 โ 35 years.
- Must be unemployed at the time of application.
- Must not currently be studying or enrolled in another learnership programme.
- Must not have previously completed the same learnership.
- Must be available to work six days per week.
- Clear criminal and credit record.
- Willing to undergo verification checks (ID, qualifications, criminal record).
Advantageous
- Driverโs licence.
- Post-Matric qualification in Sales or Marketing.
Programme Details
- Duration: 12 months
- Qualification: Learners must complete 120 credits to achieve the qualification.
- Structured workplace training combined with practical retail experience.
- Mentorship and training from experienced sales professionals.
