Overview

VKB Milling, a subsidiary of VKB Agri Processors within the VKB Group, is recruiting a Packer to join its operations in Frankfort. VKB Group is a leading agricultural company supporting farmers and delivering high-quality food products across South Africa. This position offers an opportunity for hardworking individuals to gain experience within a modern milling and food production environment.

The successful candidate will assist with packaging operations, stock handling, and maintaining cleanliness within the milling facility.

Key Responsibilities

– Ensure correct packaging materials are used for graded milling products.

– Bag, package, and palletise milled products according to company procedures.

– Ensure products are properly stored and not mixed during packaging operations.

– Maintain compliance with safety regulations and food safety standards.

– Assist with loading and offloading stock when required.

– Maintain cleanliness and general housekeeping within the production area.

– Perform additional operational duties as assigned.

Requirements & Skills

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or NQF Level 4 qualification.
  • Ability to read and understand English.
  • Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour.
  • Willingness to work a 6-day work week (Monday to Saturday).
  • Willingness to work night shifts when required.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good service orientation and work ethic.
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
  • Good physical health and stamina.
