Overview

SA Litho Label Printers, a division of Caxton & CTP Publishers and Printers Limited, is seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join its Factory Distribution team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will report to the Logistics Manager and will be responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of products while maintaining high standards of service and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

– Plan and map out delivery routes to ensure efficient and timely trips.

– Use navigation tools to determine the most suitable routes.

– Monitor traffic and weather conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly.

– Deliver products to the correct destinations in good condition and on schedule.

– Collect payments and issue receipts where required.

– Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure roadworthiness at all times.

– Arrange routine servicing and report any mechanical issues promptly.

– Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.

Requirements & Skills

Minimum Qualifications

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • Valid Code 14 Driverโ€™s License.
  • Valid Forklift License.

Experience

  • Approximately 2 yearsโ€™ experience in a manufacturing or label printing environment.

Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English and Afrikaans.
  • Basic numeracy skills for handling documentation and payments.
  • Good organisational and route-planning skills.
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly.
  • Strong commitment to safety and compliance standards.
