MCE Electric is seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic warehouse environment. The successful candidate will support housekeeping standards in line with company health, safety, and operational requirements.

Position Overview

The Warehouse Cleaner will be responsible for routine cleaning duties across warehouse facilities, ensuring all areas remain tidy, compliant with safety regulations, and operationally efficient.

Key Responsibilities

– Clean warehouse floors, walkways, desks, restrooms, and common areas daily

– Sweep, mop, vacuum, and remove dust and debris

– Empty waste bins and dispose of waste according to company procedures

– Maintain cleanliness around loading bays, entrances, and storage areas

– Keep kitchen and bathroom facilities clean and stocked

– Replace hand towels and refill soap and toilet paper

– Ensure cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly

– Report hazards, spillages, damages, and maintenance issues immediately

– Monitor cleaning material levels and report shortages

– Ensure cleaning equipment is in working order and report defects

– Follow all health and safety policies at all times

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Minimum 3 yearsโ€™ cleaning experience in a warehouse, industrial, or commercial environment
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety practices
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual labour
