Job Overview

We are recruiting Cashiers for multiple store locations across the Western Cape and Eastern Cape. This role is essential to delivering a positive customer experience by ensuring accurate transactions, excellent service, and a clean, well-organised checkout area.

The successful candidates will report to the Till Supervisor and must be flexible to work across trading and non-trading hours.


Key Responsibilities

– Operate electronic Point of Sale (POS) systems accurately and efficiently

– Process cash, card, and other payment methods while ensuring correct change

– Maintain balanced cash-ups and accurate payment records

– Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service

– Keep the till point clean, hygienic, and well organised

– Maintain knowledge of products, product codes, promotions, and adverts

– Communicate clearly with customers and team members

– Work efficiently during busy trading periods


Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Previous cashier experience
  • Reside within 25 km of the work location
  • Clear criminal record

Preferences

  • South African citizens
  • Candidates aged between 18 and 65

Assessment Process

Shortlisted candidates may be required to complete a Customer Centric Potential Work Performance Assessment Battery and respond to role-related screening questions.
