Job Overview
BKB Ltd is looking to appoint two Cashiers to join its Retail Trading team in Gqeberha. This role is ideal for customer-focused individuals who enjoy working with people and take pride in delivering friendly, accurate, and efficient service at the point of sale.

Key Responsibilities
– Accurately process cash and card transactions in line with company procedures
– Operate cash registers, scanners, scales, and related point-of-sale equipment
– Issue receipts and ensure correct pricing and quantities on all transactions
– Maintain accurate records of daily transactions
– Greet customers warmly and assist with queries, product location, and recommendations
– Resolve customer complaints professionally and efficiently
– Maintain a clean, organised, and tidy checkout area
– Provide friendly and courteous service at all times to enhance customer satisfaction
Minimum Requirements
- Matric certificate
- 2โ3 yearsโ experience in a retail cashier or sales environment
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with electronic point-of-sale equipment
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Good numerical ability and attention to detail
- Customer-focused attitude with a passion for service excellence
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Basic sales skills
