Job Overview

We are recruiting General Assistants and Store Support staff across multiple departments and locations. These roles are essential in ensuring customers receive a pleasant, efficient, and friendly shopping experience. Successful candidates will assist with customer service, merchandising, stock handling, housekeeping, and basic cashier duties depending on the department.

Key Responsibilities

– Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful assistance

– Share accurate product information and assist with product selection

– Handle customer queries, complaints, and service issues professionally

– Process cash and card payments, including refunds and exchanges

– Receive deliveries, unpack stock, and organise products

– Pack shelves neatly and ensure products are always available

– Restock sold-out items promptly

– Assist with stock takes and inventory control

– Maintain cleanliness in sales areas, storerooms, kitchens, and service counters

– Dispose of waste correctly and follow hygiene standards

– Comply with safety, security, environmental, and emergency procedures

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric certificate
  • Previous experience as a General Assistant, General Worker, or Clerk
  • Reside within 25 km of the job location
  • Clear criminal record

Preferences

  • South African citizens
  • Candidates between the ages of 23 and 38
