About the Role
As a Bulk Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer cash deposits, balancing daily cash transactions and ensuring all cash handling procedures are carried out accurately and securely. You will work with automated cash processing equipment while maintaining the highest standards of security and customer service.
This role is ideal for individuals who have previous banking or cash handling experience and enjoy working with accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
-Process and verify customer cash deposits.
-Operate automated cash processing machinery.
-Balance daily cash transactions (inter-teller balancing).
-Issue cash change according to customer change requests.
-Follow established cash security procedures at all times.
-Ensure accuracy when processing cash transactions.
-Carry out additional duties assigned by the supervisor.
-Maintain high standards of customer service and confidentiality.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
-A Certificate in Accounting and Business Studies (minimum qualification).
-Previous cash handling and/or banking experience.
-Between 1 and 2 years of relevant work experience.
