Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring waste management and destruction processes while ensuring compliance with hygiene, health, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
-Operate and monitor the waste management plant according to company procedures.
-Ensure the safe disposal of waste materials through approved processes.
-Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance checks.
-Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the work area.
-Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
-Report equipment faults, incidents, and operational issues.
-Perform other waste management and hygiene-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants should have:
-A relevant certificate in Environmental Health, Waste Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Mechanical Operations, or a related field.
-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
-Strong communication and documentation skills.
-Good work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
-Physical fitness to work in a demanding environment.
-Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
-A valid driver’s licence will be an added advantage.
