Overview
Pedros is opening a new store in Koeberg Road and is looking for energetic and customer-focused Cashiers to join the team. This is a great opportunity to be part of a new store launch and gain experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities
– Process customer orders and payments accurately
– Operate POS systems and resolve basic technical issues
– Handle cash, card, and digital transactions responsibly
– Issue receipts and manage refunds or exchanges
– Promote specials and upsell menu items
– Manage queues and ensure efficient service
– Assist customers with queries and resolve complaints
– Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area
– Balance cash and complete end-of-shift reports
– Safeguard company assets and minimise losses
Requirements & Skills
- Previous cashier or retail experience (advantageous)
- Strong numerical and cash-handling skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
