Overview

BUCO Vanderbijlpark is currently seeking a Driver to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of goods to customers and stores. The role requires careful handling of stock, proper vehicle maintenance, and delivering excellent customer service during all deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

– Deliver goods safely and efficiently to customers and store locations.

– Ensure the delivery vehicle is packed properly to prevent damage to goods.

– Assist with loading and supervising the loading of stock onto the vehicle.

– Conduct daily vehicle inspection checks and report any defects.

– Ensure all goods delivered match the correct quantities and documentation.

– Prevent damages, breakages, and shortages during transportation.

– Maintain the delivery vehicle in good working condition.

– Obtain authorization for delivery notes and ensure proper documentation.

– Collect COD (Cash on Delivery) payments when required.

– Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.

– Promote and uphold the companyโ€™s values and culture at all times.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • Valid Code 10 (Heavy Vehicle) or Code 8 (Light Vehicle) driverโ€™s licence for vehicles between 3501 kg and 9000 kg.
  • At least 2 years of relevant driving experience.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle deliveries responsibly and maintain accurate records.
