Position Overview
Skipper Bar, part of the Studio 88 Group, is looking for a dedicated Shop Assistant to join the retail operations team. The successful candidate will support daily store activities, deliver excellent customer service, drive sales, and maintain high store standards.
You will assist customers with product selection, process transactions, and ensure a positive and professional shopping experience.
Minimum Qualification
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
Experience Required
- 1โ2 yearsโ experience in a sales environment
- Retail experience in clothing or fashion stores (advantageous)
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Experience with restocking, folding, and maintaining store cleanliness
- Cash handling and POS system experience
- Basic knowledge of stock control and stockroom organisation
