Learnership Purpose
To equip unemployed youth with practical merchandising and sales skills, enabling them to:
- Support customer growth and order facilitation
- Execute and monitor merchandising standards
- Implement promotional activities
- Improve product visibility and availability
The role reports to the Account Developer.
Key Responsibilities
In-Store Execution & Merchandising
– Execute daily call schedules across assigned outlets
– Implement merchandising standards and stock rotation
– Ensure product visibility and quality in line with company standards
– Complete required merchandising surveys
– Educate customers on the MyCCBA ordering platform
– Support promotional campaigns
– Provide relief support when required
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 with Maths or Maths Literacy (minimum 40%)
- Grade 12 English and one additional language (minimum 40%)
- South African citizen
- Aged between 18โ35 years
- Employment Equity candidate
- Unemployed at time of appointment
- Not currently enrolled in any learnership or full-time studies
- No criminal or adverse credit record
- Must consent to verification checks
- Driverโs licence (advantageous)
- Post-matric qualification in Sales & Marketing (advantageous)
Learnership Details
- Duration: 12 months
- Qualification requires completion of 120 credits
- Six-day work week may be required
