Role Purpose

The Customer Service Consultant serves as the frontline representative for both online and in-store customers. The role focuses on delivering professional support, resolving queries efficiently, and ensuring a positive customer experience at every touchpoint.


Key Responsibilities

Customer Interaction & Support

– Maintain a professional, empathetic, and positive attitude when engaging with customers

– Respond promptly to customer queries via email and telephone

– Meet daily, weekly, and monthly response and resolution KPIs

– Investigate and resolve customer complaints effectively

Service Delivery & Administration

– Provide accurate product information and guidance

– Process customer orders, applications, and service requests

– Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions

– Escalate complex matters to management when required

Communication & Reporting

  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently
  • Provide feedback to improve service processes
  • Report recurring issues and escalations to line management

Requirements

  • 1โ€“2 yearsโ€™ experience in a call centre or customer service correspondence role
  • Familiarity with helpdesk systems or ticketing platforms
  • Matric certificate (additional Office Management or Microsoft Office certification advantageous)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
