About the Company

Dwarsrivier Chrome Mine, a wholly owned subsidiary of Assore Limited, is a values-driven mining operation located approximately 40 km from Burgersfort and 60 km from Lydenburg in Limpopo. The mine is recognised as a leading producer of chrome ore and is committed to operational excellence and employee development.

The successful candidate will report to the Assistant Maintenance Planner or a designated nominee.


Minimum Requirements

Education:

  • Grade 12 / Standard 10 Certificate
  • Certificate in Maintenance Planning (advantageous)

Experience:

  • At least 1 year practical experience in data capturing
  • 6 monthsโ€™ experience working with maintenance systems
  • Experience in a TMM Engineering environment (advantageous)

Key Responsibilities

– Provide administrative support for maintenance operations by accurately capturing and processing engineering data

– Print and distribute breakdown work orders to the Shift TMM Foreman and capture feedback upon completion

– Ensure the quality and accuracy of work order data

– Create pick slips for required spares

– Perform general administrative and filing duties

– Validate captured data and highlight discrepancies

– Collect completed work orders timeously and ensure proper archiving

– Generate and update daily maintenance reports

– Capture checklist information and audit PTO documentation

– Manage key control records

– Verify signed-off work orders and ensure accurate system feedback

– Archive statutory and required documentation to maintain data integrity

– Compile reports on equipment availability, reliability, and utilisation

– Assist colleagues with additional administrative tasks as required

The successful candidate must be certified medically fit in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act 29/1996. Criminal and credit checks may be conducted.
