Job Overview
Sentraal-Suid Co-operative Ltd (SSK) has an exciting opportunity for a Driver at its Agriland retail store in George. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of inventory, vehicle upkeep, and supporting daily operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
– Deliver stock and inventory to designated trade branches
– Supervise the loading and off-loading of delivery vehicles
– Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects
– Complete and reconcile daily vehicle logbooks and records
– Ensure vehicles are kept clean, roadworthy, and well maintained
– Support operational activities as required
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
- Minimum of 3 yearsโ operational experience
- Valid Code 10 (EC1) driverโs licence
- Bilingual proficiency, including English
- Strong communication skills
- Highly organised, reliable, and self-disciplined
- Willingness to work overtime when required
