Job Overview
TWK Agri is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to join its Trade Division in Bethal. This role is responsible for handling customer transactions accurately, maintaining an organised checkout area, and supporting general retail operations within the store.
Key Responsibilities
– Process customer payments accurately using cash registers and scanners
– Handle cash, card transactions, refunds, credits, and change
– Count and balance cash drawers at the start and end of shifts
– Sort, count, and wrap notes and coins
– Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
– Issue receipts and ensure correct pricing of items
– Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly checkout area
– Assist with shelf stocking and price marking
– Participate in regular stock takes
– Prepare and package merchandise when required
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- Computer literacy
- Previous cashier experience (advantageous)
- Strong numerical skills and ability to handle money accurately
- Good customer service and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual in Afrikaans and English
