About the Role

Seriti Green is seeking a dependable and professional Shuttle Driver to manage the company’s daily shuttle operations between the Head Office in Illovo, Sandton, and the regional office in Bethal, Mpumalanga. The role also includes transporting employees, clients, and stakeholders to various venues, managing fleet maintenance, and ensuring all vehicles are safe, clean, and legally compliant.

Key Responsibilities

1. Transport & Shuttle Operations

Operate the daily shuttle route between Illovo (Sandton) and Bethal (Mpumalanga), Monday to Friday
Standard operating times:
- Depart Illovo at 06:00
- Depart Bethal at 15:00, returning by 17:00
Provide transport for employees, clients, and visitors as needed
Collect and drop off passengers from airports and designated venues
Drive to alternate company locations when required

2. Fleet Management

Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy, clean, and refueled
Monitor vehicle servicing schedules and report mechanical issues
Maintain updated licences, registrations, and roadworthy certificates
Record mileage, fuel usage, and maintenance logs accurately

3. Compliance & Safety

Follow all road laws and internal company driving policies
Ensure safe transport of passengers and goods at all times
Complete journey management and safety logs
Report incidents or delays immediately to the Office Manager

4. Professional Conduct

Communicate clearly with passengers and management
Maintain a professional, courteous, and customer-focused attitude
Respect confidentiality when transporting stakeholders

Minimum Requirements

Grade 10 (Matric/Grade 12 advantageous)
Valid SA driver’s licence (Code 8 or higher)
Valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit) – Required
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a professional driver
Clear criminal record
Experience transporting groups or operating a shuttle (advantageous)
Strong knowledge of Gauteng & Mpumalanga routes
Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
Ability to complete logbooks and journey reports
