About the role

Nissan Tygervalley has a vacancy for an Apprentice Mechanic. Youโ€™ll work under the guidance of qualified technicians to perform inspections and repairs on vehicles and provide basic advice to customers about their vehicles.

What youโ€™ll do

  • Assist qualified mechanics with fault-finding, servicing and repairs.
  • Perform vehicle inspections and complete job cards accurately.
  • Follow workshop safety standards and housekeeping practices.
  • Communicate clearly with the team and, when required, with customers.

Minimum requirements

  • Matric/Grade 12 with higher grades in Mathematics and Physical Science
  • Valid driverโ€™s licence
