Overview
Multiple companies, including Dis-Chem, are seeking dedicated and reliable cleaners to join their teams in various stores across the country. Successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in all designated areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain daily cleanliness of shop floors, store areas, and communal spaces before opening.
- Use correct cleaning products and equipment for specific tasks.
- Display wet floor signage when cleaning to ensure customer safety.
- Keep canteen and restrooms clean, well-stocked, and in good condition at all times.
- Perform cleaning duties in line with health and safety regulations.
- Provide friendly and professional customer assistance when needed.
Entry Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
- Minimum of 6 months cleaning experience (advantageous).
- Good command of the English language.
- Basic customer service skills.
- Willingness to work shifts.
- Clear criminal record.
- South African citizenship.
