Overview

MORE Collection – Marataba is seeking a professional and service-driven Bartender / Waiter to join its hospitality team in Thabazimbi, Limpopo. The ideal candidate will deliver world-class guest experiences through exceptional food and beverage service, attention to detail, and a deep commitment to the MORE brand values.

Key Responsibilities

– Deliver consistent, high-quality food and beverage service according to MORE Collection standards.

– Prepare all service areas (mise-en-place) and maintain readiness for guest service.

– Demonstrate confident menu knowledge, including food and beverage pairing recommendations.

– Adhere to liquor regulations and uphold responsible service standards.

– Handle beverage preparation, presentation, and sales professionally.

– Maintain strong communication between the Service and Kitchen teams, including participation in daily briefings.

– Follow stock control and record-keeping procedures to ensure accurate beverage tracking.

– Support additional guest service duties such as minibar restocking, luggage handling, or kids’ entertainment when needed.

– Collect and update guest preference information to enhance personalized service.

– Address guest queries and report feedback or complaints promptly to the Supervisor or Management.

Requirements & Skills

Minimum Requirements:

Matric / equivalent qualification.
Relevant hospitality or customer service experience.
Strong knowledge of wine, cocktails, and other beverages.
Understanding of food menus, preparation methods, and service etiquette.
Familiarity with stock control, hygiene practices, and food safety standards.
