The Road Accident Fund (RAF) provides appropriate cover to all road users in South Africa, rehabilitating and compensating persons injured in motor vehicle accidents while actively promoting road safety.

We are looking for skilled professionals to join our team in Corporate Support, Digital Delivery, Learning & Development, and Claims Management.

Available Positions

1. Officer: Firearm Administration & Compliance – R501,775 p.a.

Location: Centurion, Gauteng
Closing Date: 22 July 2025
Requirements:
- National Diploma in Security Management/Policing
- PSIRA Grading & Firearm Competency Certification
- 3+ years’ experience in Firearm Compliance & Administration
Key Focus: Conduct firearm audits, ensure compliance with Firearms Control Act, manage firearm risk, maintain accurate registers, and train close protectors.

2. Principal Developer: User Experience – R771,969 p.a.

Location: Centurion, Gauteng
Closing Date: 22 July 2025
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT
- 5–7 years’ experience in full SDLC
- Power Platform & API integration experience
Key Focus: Design & develop new applications, enhance existing systems, ensure user-centric design, support DevOps & CI/CD processes.

3. Principal Developer: Digital Delivery – R771,969 p.a.

Location: Centurion, Gauteng

Requirements: Same as above
Key Focus: Application development & integration, logical flow design, cross-platform mobile development, and stakeholder collaboration.

4. Principal Developer: Full Stack – R771,969 p.a.

Location: Centurion, Gauteng

Requirements:
- Degree/Advanced Diploma in IT
- 5–7 years’ experience in software development
- Power Platform & RESTful API integration
Key Focus: Full-stack development, database design, workflow automation, and application maintenance.

5. Specialist: Learning & Development – R771,969 p.a.

Location: Cape Town, Western Cape
Closing Date: 15 July 2025
Requirements:
- Degree/Advanced Diploma in Learning & Development/related field
- 5–7 years’ training & facilitation experience
Key Focus: Conduct training needs analysis, design learning solutions, manage workplace skills plans, and ensure compliance with SAQA standards.

6. Consultant: Verification & Validation (x5) – R434,656 p.a.

Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng
Closing Date: 15 July 2025
Type: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree/Advanced Diploma in related field
- 3 years’ experience in claims environment
Key Focus: Validate RAF claims, apply legal RAF Act knowledge, conduct stakeholder verification, ensure data accuracy & compliance.

7. Manager: Digital Delivery – R1,028,791 p.a.

Location: Centurion, Gauteng

Requirements:
- Degree in IT/Business/Engineering
- 6–8 years’ IT/Agile/UX experience with 2 years in management
- Agile/Project Management certification advantageous
Key Focus: Lead digital projects, manage agile delivery teams, enhance user experience, integrate technology, and improve business processes.

8. Manager: Security Vetting, Administration, Standards & Policies – R891,176 p.a.

Location: Centurion, Gauteng

- National Diploma in Security Management/Criminology/Policing
- 6–8 years’ experience in Security Vetting & Compliance
- PSIRA Grading & Security Vetting Certificate
