1. Old Mutual Bursary (Chartered Accounting) 2026
- Covers: Tuition, study materials, accommodation, meals, travel & mentorship
- Requirements:
- SA citizen with 70%+ in Mathematics & 60%+ in English HL
- Acceptance to a SAICA-accredited university
- Commitment to join the Old Mutual Chartered Accounting Training (OMCAT) Programme

2. Old Mutual Bursary (Actuarial Science) 2026
- Covers: Tuition, study materials, accommodation, meals, travel & guaranteed employment after graduation
- Requirements:
- SA citizen with 80%+ Mathematics & 70%+ other subjects
- Must study at an approved SA university (UCT, Stellenbosch, UP, Wits, etc.)
- Commitment to qualifying as an actuary and working for Old Mutual

3. Senior Software Engineer
- Role: Lead full-stack development of complex web applications, design scalable systems, mentor junior developers, and implement DevOps best practices.
- Requirements:
- Bachelorโs in Computer Science/Engineering
- 8+ years full-stack development experience
- Strong front-end (React/Angular/Vue) & back-end (Node.js/Python) skills
- Cloud experience (AWS/Azure) & CI/CD knowledge

4. Platform Owner โ Contact Centre
- Role: Manage & optimize Old Mutualโs contact centre & engagement platforms, drive technical enhancements, and ensure seamless customer experience.
- Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science/IT
- 8+ years managing technology platforms
- Agile methodology experience (SAFe, Scrum)
- Contact Centre tech (ACD, CRM, IVR) knowledge preferred

5. Junior Software Quality Engineer
- Role: Perform manual & automated software quality testing, debug issues, and ensure application stability.
- Requirements:
- Bachelorโs in Computer Science
- 2+ years software testing experience (Selenium, JMeter, SQL)
- Basic programming knowledge (Java, JavaScript, Python)

6. Platform Owner โ Correspondence
- Role: Oversee Enterprise Content & Correspondence Management (ECCM) platforms, improve system performance, and drive governance.
- Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems
- 8+ years managing IT platforms
- Agile experience & metadata/information governance knowledge

7. Senior Engineering Lead โ Servicing & Operations IT (API)
- Role: Lead API integration for core policy administration systems, manage engineering teams, and drive software delivery excellence.
- Requirements:
- Masterโs Degree (preferred) in IT/Engineering
- 10+ years in software development, 3+ in leadership
- Strong API frameworks, DevOps & Agile project management skills
