Available Positions:


1) Fire Fighter

Reporting to: Supervisor: Fire & Rescue โ€ข Apply by: September 2025
Purpose: Provide airport fire, rescue and medical response, maintain readiness of vehicles/equipment/infrastructure, and ensure compliance with aviation safety standards.
Minimum: Matric; SAESI Fire Fighter 1; SAESI Hazmat Awareness & Ops; HPCSA BAA / First Aid L3; 6 months fire & rescue experience; Code B licence; MS Office (basic).
Key: Incident response & HIRA; runway/taxiway/apron inspections; ATC notifications & remedial actions; public safety awareness; maintain fitness & attend aviation training; aircraft marshalling duties; capture incident data for billing; stakeholder relations.

2) Senior Flight Data Controller

Reporting to: Assistant Manager: Information Management & Billing โ€ข Apply by: 12 Sep 2025
Purpose: Manage airside resources and flight movement data to enable efficient airport operations and punctuality.
Minimum: Diploma in Logistics/Commercial/Operations; 3 yrs aeronautical documentation ops; 1 yr supervisory airport ops; 2 yrs airport ops recommended; knowledge of airport ops & aviation legislation; MS Office (intermediate).
Key: Capture landings/take-offs/parking times; update FIDS; monitor radio frequencies; coordinate ETAs/ETDs; daily validations & dashboard alignment; reconcile ATNS logs & AMS; slot/schedule alignment; allocate movements in AMS; sign off parking bay list; manage ADS in real time; liaise with ANS on CTOT; gate activation info; risk controls; plan/schedule team tasks; stakeholder communication & fair utilisation principles.
Competencies: Results-driven, attention to detail, technical/analytical skills, problem solving, interpersonal relationships, leading others.


3) Assistant Manager: Fire & Rescue

Reporting to: Manager: Airfield Manager Services
Purpose: Lead ARFF operations in line with ICAO/SACAA standards; ensure compliance, readiness, incident command, and continuous improvement.
Minimum: Grade 12; Higher Certificate (NQF5) Fire & Rescue/Emergency Services (essential); Diploma (NQF6) recommended; Fire Fighter L2 & First Aid L3; SAESI membership; 4 yrs fire & rescue ops + 2 yrs supervisory; Code 11/14 licence; MS Office (intermediate).
Key: Asset replacement & maintenance scheduling; SHE/ARFF compliance; recovery & contingency plans; resource effectiveness during emergencies; ICS implementation; aircraft operational safety; R&D and cost-saving initiatives; contract management; acting in senior roles as needed; people development (performance, talent, succession); risk assessments & inspections; stakeholder and union relations.
Extras: Vehicle electronics exposure advantageous.


4) Senior Terminal Operations Coordinator

Reporting to: Manager: Terminal Operations
Purpose: Coordinate terminal capacity, infrastructure and real-time operations to meet service standards and manage exceptions (events/weather).
Minimum: Relevant 3-year Bachelorโ€™s degree; 5 yrs airport ops (or equivalent); 3 yrs supervisory (essential); 3 yrs airline ops recommended; MS Office (intermediate).
Key: Capacity planning & pressure-point management; infrastructure availability views & recommendations; coordinate maintenance/development projects; ensure resource allocation models are followed; manage ASQ/QMS/Compliance survey results & corrective actions; monitor queue/processing times and drive improvements; oversee terminal operations; staff development; stakeholder & relationship management.
Competencies: Analytical skills, report writing, problem solving, communication, project management, critical thinking.


5) HR Business Partner

Reporting to: Senior Manager: HR
Purpose: Partner with line to translate strategy into workforce capabilities and deliver end-to-end people processes (talent, performance, change, ER, reward, onboarding) while ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
Minimum: Bachelorโ€™s (HR/Industrial Psychology/Social Sciences); Honours advantageous; 5 yrs HR generalist; MS Office proficiency; Code B driverโ€™s licence.
Key: Input to business plans & budgets; resolve operational people challenges; monitor compliance & corrective actions; employee feedback mechanisms; orientation for new staff; reporting; policy/standards development & implementation; cost-efficiency initiatives; stakeholder relationship building; specialised HR advisory.
Competencies: Strong verbal/written communication, problem-solving, conflict management, decisiveness & accuracy, customer-centricity, detail & analytical thinking, results focus, consultation, planning & organising, relationship building, negotiation, influencing, leadership.
