Overview

Clicks Group is hiring Shop Assistant / Cashiers (19 posts) across multiple stores. You’ll deliver service excellence at the till, support merchandising standards, and help customers “feel good and pay less” by promoting ClubCard and in-store offers.

Key Responsibilities

Execute all point-of-sale (POS) activities accurately and efficiently.
Handle cash safely; follow cash-up and float procedures.
Promote and enroll Clicks ClubCard; meet participation targets.
Inform customers about promotions to positively affect sales.
Provide friendly, visible service as a brand ambassador.
Maintain merchandising, ticketing, pricing accuracy and store housekeeping to standard.
Keep product knowledge current: ranges, promotions, events.
Support stock management routines as required.

Requirements & Skills

Education

Essential: Grade 12 (Matric).
Desirable: ≥50% for Maths and English in Grade 12.

Experience

Desirable: Customer-facing retail/FMCG experience.

Knowledge

Basic maths; retail/FMCG environment; promotions principles.
Understanding of stock procedures and customer service excellence.

Skills & Competencies
